Parrots are one of the most traded species in the harmful pet wildlife trade both globally and in Trinidad and Tobago. In captivity, wild-born parrots often suffer from easily preventable diseases due to inadequate care. This webinar provides an opportunity to learn important parrot care tips from a qualified veterinarian.
Dr. Kavita Sant is the founder of Exotic Pets Plus Veterinary Clinic in Couva, Trinidad. She has 4 years experience providing clinical treatments to avian, reptile, and small mammal species. She was trained under Dr. Gabriel Brown and Dr. Johnson, Lecturers in Avian and Exotic Department, FMS UWI.
